TIMOTHY
C. SIMMONS, M.D.
Dr. Simmons
entered private practice in Los Angeles in
1980. He has been appointed to numerous positions
including Chief of Medicine and Chief of
Staff at Robert F. Kennedy Hospital. Since
1987, Dr. Simmons has conducted over 80 clinical
trials for various pharmaceutical companies.
He is a Clinical Instructor in Gastroenterology
and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine
at the UCLA-Wadsworth VA Hospital Center.
Dr. Simmons is one of the original founding

ADEBAMBO
OJURI, M.D.
Dr. Ojuri entered
private practice with West Gastronenterology
Medical Group in 1993. Dr. Ojuri has served
as Chairman of the Department of Internal
Medicine at Lincoln Hospital in Los Angeles
and was previously an Associate Clinical
Professor of Medicine at the UCLA School
of Medicine. Dr. Ojuri is a member of the
American Gastroenterology Association, American Medical
Association, American Society of Gastroenterology
Endoscopy, and National Medical Association.

FRED
GLETTEN, M.D.
Dr. Gletten entered
private practice with West Gastroenterology
Medical Group in 1982. He
has held various positions as Chief of Gastroenterology
Lab at Brotman Memorial Hospital and Los Angeles
Doctors Hospital, and he was appointed Chief
of Staff for Los Angeles Doctors Hospital from
1985-1986 and 1987-1988. Since 1988, Dr.
Gletten has conducted over 50 clinical trials
for various pharmaceutical companies. Dr.
Gletten currently serves on the faculty as
an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine
at UCLA School of Medicine’s Department of
Internal Medicine and Charles Drew Medical
School.

ROBERT
FAN, M.D.
Dr. Fan is a graduate of the Medical College
of Ohio where he received his M.D. and a Ph.D.
in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 1998. He
completed his internship and
residency in internal medicine at UCLA Greater
Los Angeles Health Care System. Dr.
Fan completed his gastroenterology fellowship
in 2004 at the Division of Digestive Diseases
at UCLA. Dr. Fan has been with
West Gastroenterology Medical Group since
2005.

CYRIL
ANYADIKE, M.D.
Dr. Cyril Anyadike graduated from California
State University, Los Angeles in 1990 and received
a B.S. in Medical Technology. In 1996,
he received his M.D. from the Bowman Grey School
of Medicine at Wake Forest University, North
Carolina. He completed his internship in
general surgery at the University of California,
Davis-East Bay in 1998 followed his residency
in 2002 at Saginaw Cooperative Hospitals Inc.
(SCHI) Department of Internal Medicine in association
with Michigan State University. He has
held positions as a Resident and Clinical Instructor
in the Department of Surgery and the Department
of Internal Medicine at UC Davis and SCHI, respectively. He
is currently an Assistant Professor in Gastroenterology
at LAC-King Drew Medical Center. Dr. Anyadike
became a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal
Medicine in 2002 and a Diplomat of the American
Board of Gastroenterology in 2005. Dr.
Anyadike is a member of the American Medical
Association, American Society of Internal Medicine,
American College of Physicians, American College
of Gastroenterology, and American Society of
Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Anyadike
joined West Gastroenterology Medical Group in

MARIAN
ROSENTHAL, M.D.
Dr. Rosenthal has held positions as
Chairman of Regional Gastroenterology Committee
for Southern California Permanente, Chief
Physician of Gastroenterology Section for
Kaiser West Los Angeles, and past President
of the Southern California Society for Gastrointestinal
Endoscopy (1986). Dr. Rosenthal is
currently an Assistant Clinical Professor
for UCLA’s Department of Medicine, and has
been an attending physician in Gastroenterology
at UCLA-Wadsworth VA Hospital since 1971.
Dr. Rosenthal has been with West Gastroenterology
Medical Group since March of 2004.

ESMERELDA
LAKE, NP, MSN
Esmerelda Lake completed her undergraduate degree
in Nursing from the University of Southern California
in 1997. She later completed the MSN program at
the University of California, Los Angeles in 2001.
She completed her internship at Little Company
of Mary in 2001 prior to joining West Gastroenterology
Medical Group in 2003.

CHRISTHAM
WINDROSS-WHITE, NP
Christham Windross-White received a Bachelor of
Science in Nursing from California State University,
Long Beach, in 1999. She later completed the RN/MSN
and her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
at the University of California, Los Angeles, in
2001. After working as an intern for UCLA Cardiology
and Kaiser Permanente, she joined West Gastroenterology
Medical Group in February of 2002.
