West GI has been conducting clinical trials for 25 years in an effort to provide patients access to the most effective and advanced drug therapies for GI disorders well before they are available for prescription. Currently, West GI’s Research Department is conducting multiple clinical trials for Ulcerative Colitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Constipation, Diarrhea, Hepatitis C, Pancreatitis, and Patients at Risk for Developing NSAID-associated Ulcers.

Our goal in clinical research is to include all subjects interested in participating in clinical trials. Our overall aim is to include physicians, religious leaders, community patient advocates, and others involved in the health and welfare of patients in the community we serve. In addition, we protect the privacy and confidentiality of all participants in the clinical trials. We strive to conduct clinical research with dignity and high moral standards, protecting all human
subjects’ welfare and safety. The rights, safety, and well being of all clinical trials subject come before the interest of science and society.
